How It Works

1. Energy Savings Modelling

   Our experienced energy engineers model the baseline and proposed energy consumption in any project using hourly data and full correlations for climate and production. These savings modelling inform the design and set the performance requirements of the proposed equipment. These models are reviewed at each design stage gate.

2. Innovative Concepts and Designs

   Building upon many years of energy project experience, our solutions teams seek out the best fit of proven technologies, applied in an optimum way, taking advantage of the physics of application and the limitations and opportunities of equipment to create a robust solution that fulfils the need of the concept. Here, we must respect the risks to business continuity, the future regulations that bring early obsolescence and the ease and cost of maintenance.

3. Project Management

   We recognise that great solutions can fail if the project management is wrong. We rely on proven processes to control this, to get control, reporting and communicating working to best effect. We have been accredited with ISO9001 since 2016.

4. Commissioning

   Seamless commissioning does not happen by accident. It cannot be left to the best intentions of an OEM engineer. It must be planned, structured, documented and executed using a protocol structure to ensure the correct outcome. Often, these protocols need to be leveraged by the strictest of validation processes. EM3 operate in these strict environments, and our standards meet the highest common denominator of pharmaceutical validation.

5. Demonstration

   Energy projects’ raison d’etre is clear. They must save energy. After we complete a project, we demonstrate the project's effect using the IPMVP protocol. This is a structured measurement and verification methodology to ensure conclusions are real. Our track record to date is that we always deliver the result.
