Reporting: Energy Management Services Lead

Position Overview:

The Graduate Energy Engineer will provide support to senior engineers in delivering high-quality energy management consultancy services to clients. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals with a passion for sustainability, energy efficiency, and problem-solving, looking to develop their expertise in, business consultancy, energy management consulting and sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support Senior Engineers in energy management services for a number of client sites located domestically and internationally

· Support the development tailored energy management strategies, addressing clients’ unique operational needs and sustainability goals.

· Help prepare client presentations and reports, summarising findings and actionable recommendations.

· Collaborate closely with clients to guide them through energy-saving projects, ensuring successful implementation. This will be with support from Senior Engineers where required.

· Prepare and present reports and recommendations, explaining the potential for energy savings, return on investment (ROI), and environmental benefits.

· Assist with energy management, sustainability assessments, and the identification of areas for operational improvements.

· Continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the energy management services space.

· Client facing while presenting finding and suggestions to clients

· Support the development of energy flows of a site from scratch and implement energy management system framework for new sites with support from data scientists

Key Skills & Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.

· Strong interest in consultancy, energy management, and sustainability.

· Basic understanding of energy management principles and industrial energy systems.

· Familiarity with energy-efficient technologies and systems in manufacturing settings.

· Good understanding of data analysis tools, Excel and other reporting software.

· Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

· A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn in a dynamic consulting environment.

· Attention to Detail: Ability to analyse data, ensure reports are accurate and identify key insights.

· Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication, with the ability to work well in teams and relay information concisely.

· Problem-solving: Basic analytical thinking and ability to support senior consultants in identifying and solving client challenges.

· Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with others, be receptive to feedback and contribute ideas to team discussions.

· Mobility: Ability to travel domestically & internationally when required. Driver’s licence is desirable.
