Role Description:
Reporting to the Business Development Director, your strategic objective will be to lead and manage sales and marketing activities predominantly in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices and Life Sciences sectors in North America based in New Jersey. Some activities in the Food and Beverage sector will also be part of the role. You must plan for and manage the delivery of a sales budget in line with the strategic plan for the region.
EM3 LLC is looking for a commercially focused, proactive, hands on and dynamic Account Lead to lead and grow sales in this key strategic sector. This is an opportunity to get involved with an established consultancy services market leader embarking on the next stage of development, which will see extensive business scaling of the existing portfolio of clients, taking on new clients, including large global, muti-site, multi-region, industrial manufacturing customers.
Business / Commercial / Financial Success
· You will ensure EM3 is hitting its North American milestones by managing continuing business growth and the long-term financial sustainability of the organisation.
· Deliver agreed upon EM3 LLC business plans, budgets and forecasts, ensuring sales meet or exceed targets.
· Collaborate and innovate with potential and existing clients and key accounts to develop new business opportunities that build and maintain sustainable, mutually beneficial relationships.
· Promote brand awareness and development as well as identifying targeting and pursuit of new Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices and Life Sciences clients.
· Accurately forecast sales and cash flows, generate and protect short- and long-term revenue streams and leverage technology and process enhancements to improve financial results.
Business Planning
· Develop and execute the company’s North American business strategies by developing a business model to support long-term financial sustainability.
· Execute all administrative tasks associated with the commercial function, monitor and respond to market and competitor activities and analysis.
· Support current and future expansion of operations and work with the Operations team to ensure the optimal allocation of resources needed to achieve the goals and objectives of the strategic plan.
· Ensure the implementation of the EM3 LLC strategic and operating plan and set budgets that meets or exceeds goals while optimising EM3’s position as a market leader market and enhance and maintain its market position.
The Ideal candidate has the following:
Education
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Professional Experience
· Minimum of 5 years’ proven leadership and management experience as a Account Director, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or Commercial Manager scaling consultancy companies and dealing with large Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices and Life Sciences companies.
· Experience in a multi-service consultancy, managing scaling consultancy services for clients in Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices and Life Sciences sectors.
· Significant business development experience of tendering, negotiating and closing.

· Demonstrated ownership orientation and proactive mindset toward all aspects of the company and extremely results-driven in nature.
