Role Description:

As a Key Account Manager at EM3, you will report directly to the Business Development Director and lead sales and marketing activities within the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, and Life Sciences sectors in Ireland. Your strategic objective is to manage and grow sales while aligning with the company’s strategic plan and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Business / Commercial / Financial Success:

  • Ensure EM3 achieves milestones by driving business growth and long-term financial sustainability.
  • Deliver on EM3’s business plans, budgets, and forecasts, exceeding sales targets.
  • Collaborate and innovate with clients and key accounts to develop new business opportunities and foster sustainable relationships.
  • Enhance brand awareness, identify and target new clients, and pursue opportunities in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, and Life Sciences sectors.
  • Accurately forecast sales and cash flows, protect revenue streams, and leverage technology for improved financial results.

Business Planning:

  • Develop and execute the Ireland business strategies that support long-term financial sustainability.
  • Monitor and respond to market and competitor activities and analysis, executing administrative tasks associated with the commercial function.
  • Support the expansion of consulting operations, optimizing resource allocation to achieve strategic goals.
  • Implement EM3’s strategic and operating plan, setting budgets that meet or exceed objectives while maintaining market leadership.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • A Master’s Degree such as an MBA or other advanced degree is preferable.

Professional Experience:

  • 10 years’ leadership and management experience in Energy / Utilities / Renewables, with roles like Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or Commercial Manager, preferably in consultancy companies.
  • Experience managing scaling consultancy services for clients in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, and Life Sciences sectors.
  • Strong business development experience, including tendering, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Experience in implementing rapid growth at scale and driving transformative change.
  • Previous agile team experience and proficiency in preparing and implementing comprehensive business plans and roadmaps.
  • Proven ability to write compelling sales and marketing documentation, including case studies.
  • Demonstrated experience in solution-selling and presenting at a senior executive level.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools or sales enablement products.
